Fling This and That Badges

How to earn every live badge, from the first pallet to Toy Collector.

Badges

Fling This and That ships ten badges. None of them require a code. A few require coins, one requires VR hardware, and two are rare enough that most of the 9 million visits never saw the toast. Use this page as a checklist. The embedded video is a real “all badges” FTAT clip; pair it with the notes below because patch physics change missile aim and snowball size.

Win rates move. Treat them as “easy / uncommon / rare,” not as a leaderboard.

Easy: Wright Brothers

Follow how to fly. Grab a pallet, ride it, do not hop off instantly. If you already own it from week one, skip.

Uncommon: fridge, missile, backroom, rock

Indiana Jones. Find a refrigerator toy or map fridge, get inside, stay long enough for the award. Friends can fling you in; that still counts as entering. Combat players doing how to fling will stumble into this by accident.

Oppenheimer. Spawn or find the large missile, launch it, hit a random person who is actually on the island — not a plot interior if the game ignores that collision. Small servers make lining up a shot easier but make “random person” rarer. Mid-pop public shards are the compromise.

Backroom. The description is a pun on familiar objects. Look for a cluster of tiny, out-of-place props rather than a full backrooms maze. Community secret-place lists (BondIce, foggy-lake stairs) are in the map if you want extra holes to check, but they are not officially named as this badge.

Loose Rock. Search decrepit structures and stashes, not the polished pirate fort. Think collapsed props, not the thumbnail tower.

Rare: Airborne, Super Secret Base, Toy Collector, 9th Planet, VR

Airborne. One minute in the air, no toy contact. Rocket arc over ocean on a quiet shard. Details on the fly guide.

Super Secret Base. Exploration badge. Bring building pieces once you find it — the text says you can build, hide, and watch outsiders. Plots elsewhere are easier houses; this one is the hideout flex. If you cannot find it, you are in the 99.9%.

Toy Collector. Buy every non-limited toy. That is a long incinerator career. Use the toys tier list so you at least enjoy the catalog while you bleed coins. Limited toys do not count.

9th Planet. Grow a snowball to max size. Seasonal snow or a snowball toy is required; if the island is in a tropical playlist, you may need the right toy spawned rather than a weather event. Christmas-style updates have added map props — see the changelog.

Player is Ready. Join on VR. No trick besides owning a headset Roblox accepts.

What badges are not

They are not paywalls. Farther Reach does not grant Oppenheimer. Codes do not grant Toy Collector. Scripts that auto-award badges are the fastest way to meet the anti-cheat.

Work through getting started first, then pick one uncommon badge per session. The island is funnier when you are not checklist-speedrunning a fridge while a tornado eats the farm.
