Anti-grab is the most searched script toggle in any fling sandbox: you do not want to be someone else’s missile. In Fling This and That you already have legitimate answers — escape upgrades at Jef’s Jumble, the 250 Robux reach pass for grabbing first, and building plots that block latches. Legit anti-grab (do this first)
- −1 Escape Second at Jef’s Jumble costs 850 coins per level, max 8. That is the studio-supported way to shrink latch time. Farm it with the incinerator.
- Building plots break grab, fling, and hold inside the border. Walk in, request member, wait. How to build.
- Clutter and camera. Long reach still needs line of sight. Factory walls and lighthouse stairs on the map are free cover.
- Grab first. Farther Reach coin levels (+1 stud, 1,000 coins, max 10) or the Extended Grab Reach pass (250 Robux, 20→30 studs, does not stack with the coin row). Ranking: gamepasses.

What anti-grab will not do
It will not stop a pallet from physically hitting you. It will not pause a weather-machine tornado. It will not save you from the lava black hole on mobile (the wiki bug is “cannot jump out” — reset). It will not redeem codes. It will not award badges.
If a GUI also offers “kick all” or “destroy server,” that is not defense. That is the reason Brickified asked for in-game reports.
Practical test
- Join a tiny server with a friend.
- Let them latch you with stock reach.
- Enable only anti-grab.
- If you still sit in their line for the full escape timer, the hub is FTAP-locked or patched.
- Turn it off. Buy a Jef escape level. Repeat the test.
The second test is the one that still works after a changelog push.
If you only want to survive public shards, plots plus escape levels are enough. Save loaders for an alt after you already understand stock controls and can throw a crate without dropping it.
Play dirty if you want. Just know the studio already sold you the legal version of this toggle at the shop with the red roof and the “Fling” visor.
