Fling This and That FTAT Toys Tier List
Buy spawnables by job — flight, fights, farms, and flex — not by catalog order.
The Toy Shop in Fling This and That is a 250+ item hole (admin toys extra). You will not finish it this week unless you are speedrunning Toy Collector. This page ranks families so your incinerator bags buy a job, not a random plush. For Robux power, use the gamepass tier list instead.
S-tier: movement hulls
Pallets, rideable boards, rockets, boats, and anything that counts as a first-flight toy for Wright Brothers. These unlock how to fly and make the map smaller. If you can only afford one shop row after reach, buy a hull you like.
Thrusters and levers are part of this family even when they are sold separate. A hull without a motor is furniture.
S-tier combat: mass and missiles
Heavy furniture (sofas, crates, cars) and the large missile (Oppenheimer). Mass wins throws. Missiles win clips and a badge. Glue (Super Duper Glue) and mystic-style potions are S for area control, A for pure yeet. Details in how to fling.
Refrigerators are a meme until Indiana Jones clicks. Then they are S for the badge and B as a projectile.
A-tier: farm tools
Anything you can stuff into the incinerator in bulk. Cheap, small, and easy to spawn beats a giant statue you can only place once. The money guide cares about packing the chamber, not about how rare the toy looks in the shop thumbnail.
A-tier: plot kits
Lights, pools, glass cubes, beds, ATMs-as-props, pirate flags. These make building plots look like the official thumbnails. They are A if you actually save layouts, C if you never open a plot.
B-tier: seasonal and gimmick
Snowballs (9th Planet), Christmas props from the holiday map, tropical set pieces, unicorn plushes, following “babies” that actually make sound in FTAT. Fun, clip-friendly, not a combat plan. Buy after hull + missile + glue.
C-tier: flex
Line skins that are sold as toys, tiny food props, duplicate chairs in thirty colors. Toy Collector will force these later. Your first 5,000 coins should not.
D-tier until you are collecting
Limited-looking items that do not help flight, fights, or farms. Admin-only toys are not in the 236 count and are not a shopping goal.
How to shop without drowning
- Farm a bag stack (incinerator).
- Buy one S-tier job (hull or missile).
- Leave the shop.
- Spawn it, use it, then repeat.
The coin planner is the numeric version of that loop. Codes will not fill the catalog for you.
Spawn rules that change rank
Some toys are plot-only. A perfect pool kit is worthless in a 1v1 on factory island. Read the shop tooltip. If it says house/plot, rank it as a builder item even if the thumbnail looks like a weapon.
Desync is part of the meta. Rockets that ignore clicks need a despawn. That does not demote the toy to D; it is a controls plus build issue.
Studio catalog notes
Aiden Fontsu’s art is why the shop is bigger than the original’s toy box. Brickified can still add rows in seasonal patches — Christmas already did. When a new missile or glue shows up, it starts at B until people prove it throws. Watch the changelog instead of assuming the old S-tier is immortal.
Buy ugly useful toys first. The unicorn can wait until the pallet already flies.
